7 Tasteful treats to get Halloweeney!

Do you decorate for Halloween?

As we head towards the scary 31st, we see all the ghoulish tangerine and black decor arrive in the stores. (quite frankly most of it is awful)

I'm not a massive fan of temporary decs for Halloween but since having Max things have changed.

The neighbours all do it and Max always asked ' Why does our house not have any spiders webs and skeletons by the front door Mummy?' (Awful Mother guilt!)
From that day on...we decorate...

I was on a mission to find some decs that tick these two boxes...
Decorate house for Halloween (tastefully)

Keep up with the Jones'
I've gathered some gorgeous ideas to haunt your home, you AND the kids will love the spooky, cosy yet subtle vibe! 🎃

SAND AND FOG CANDLES ARE MY NEW 'GO TO'

TKMAXX has been one of my favourite shops for kitchenware and candles for a long time. It doesn't let us down in Autumn as the shelves are stacked with warm, autumnal, rustic candles for a cosy vibe. I've bought a few Sand and Fog candles and the soy wax lasts for ages.

A beautiful slow burner.

A slow burner with a sensual scent...

....Just because there are so many to choose from and I love to have a selection of colours and tones to add interest to a corner of my home. And, you can never buy just one candle at a time!

The soft peach Sweet Apple candle with the tangerine orange above makes a gorgeous combination.

I've always used Lights for Fun for festive lights. They have a very 'on trend' selection and are very reasonably priced.

Just look at how the light bounces off the walls! Plus, this one uses batteries so no need for ugly wires trailing down your fireplace!

Bookshelf

One of my favourite things to do is host a dinner party with friends.

We all have children so they play, whilst we nibble and catch up.

I can rarely help having a theme whether is be Mexican (attendees must wear Sombreros for the occasion) or South American. I fell in love with this rich table decor idea with deep purple florals and a haunting theme! 😈

Orange and peach tones with a touch of sage sit deliciously on a wooden step! Various sizes allow you to bridge the gaps in between the larger pumpkins 🎃
